Tool Fabrication– Let our in-house engineering and CAD systems design your tool “from scratch.” Or provide a print of your tool and we will produce a final product in four weeks or less. Our full service in-house machine shop gives us complete control over all new tool orders.
Refurbishing– We have the capability to regrind nearly every type of PCD, CBN or SCD tool. Tools can be shimmed (the diamond is reheated, pushed out on the shank and ground down to new tool dimensions), reground (the tool is ground sharp to a smaller dimension) or retipped with a new piece of diamond, also to new tool dimensions.
Innovation– STF offers unique tooling programs, such as our “relap/replace” program and our “one price” program, in which you pay one price regardless of whether we must regrind, retip or completely replace a tool. Ask us for more information on these and other innovative programs.
Rapid Fulfillment– At STF we work two shifts daily to turn orders around quicker than our competitors. New tools usually ship within four weeks and regrinds within two weeks. Expedited services are available for a nominal fee, and if necessary, we will even courier tools to your plant to keep your lines running.
